New Brunswick Injury Lawyer

Middlesex County Workers' Compensation Attorney

Injuries, whether they occur at work or while driving your car, can have devastating effects on your health, job opportunities and finances. An experienced New Brunswick injury attorney can help educate you on the legal process and the challenges you might face throughout your case.

At the Law Office of John D. Kovac, I have a great deal of experience guiding clients through these difficult times. I take care to learn as much as I can about the case and my clients' goals so I can provide an honest and realistic case assessment.

The firm was founded in 1999, and I have been practicing since 1987 — with three years of experience as an Assistant District Attorney. My acquired experience in this practice area has led me to author the Institute for Continuing Legal Education's textbook for workers' compensation lawyers and to regularly teach attorneys about the law of workers' compensation. As a result of my litigation experience, teaching and publication history I have been honored with a selection to the New Jersey Super Lawyers list.

I provide legal advice and representation to residents of New Brunswick and communities throughout New Jersey with a wide range of concerns, including:

Clients appreciate the level of personal service and individual attention that my firm provides. My staff and I prepare for every case as if it would be decided by a trial, that way we can minimize surprises that might come up throughout negotiations. I am comfortable negotiating with insurance companies, and have experience handling the most complex injury cases.

In certain circumstances, you can have both a personal injury and a workers' compensation case at the same time. It is best to retain a lawyer with experience in both areas in the event this occurs in your case also.
